CARROT is a high quality source of beta carotene (provitamin A), but also of other carotenes and carotenoids, whose active lipids in the composition give a miraculous effect to this plant. Beta carotene has an extremely important role in wrinkle prevention, since it neutralizes the three most important causes of wrinkling: prevents dehydration of skin, protects against UVA rays and, as a strong antioxidant, neutralizes the effects of free radicals which are responsible for cell damaging. It also regulates the function of sebaceous and sweat glands, as well as the hair growth cycle. It accelerates new cell formation, protects the outer layers of skin and prevents brittleness of hair.
